Meet TimelyText's leadership team.

At TimelyText, our executive leadership is connected with the company in a very “hands on” way. In other words, they, like the other members of our core staff, wear multiple hats to ensure that our work is successful.

Ronnie Duncan

President/CEO and founder

With 30 years’ experience in business operations, sales and technology, Ronnie helps TimelyText consistently deliver results for clients, while simultaneously developing new relationships with area companies.

Ronnie’s motivation is to ensure that both of TimelyText’s customers – clients and employees – are equally satisfied with the fit of each contract relationship. Since founding TimelyText in 2003, Ronnie has created hundreds of those relationships.

Before TimelyText, Ronnie was a partner at Advanced Concepts (later Advacon), a firm focused on technical writing contracts, along with TimelyText VP Adrian West. When he’s not cultivating new opportunities for TimelyText, Ronnie enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis.   Ronnie earned a BS in Business Administration from University of North Carolina.  He’s an active participant in several associations and is frequently asked to speak on topics ranging from career development to interviewing and negotiation skills.

Adrian West

Vice President

Adrian is a career communicator with over 25 years experience as a technical writer. He began as an independent contractor and is really in his element placing and mentoring others in the field.  When pressed, he might tell you that one of his favorite parts of the job is seeing the look of joyful anticipation on an employee’s face during the orientation before their first TimelyText assignment.

Adrian’s primary focus is to help TimelyText employees garner success on the job by acting as a behind-the-scenes support system and helping them tackle challenges that they would otherwise have to face alone. He relishes the opportunity to celebrate successes of TimelyText employees with his current favorite word, “Excellent!”

Prior to TimelyText, Adrian was founder and partner at Advanced Concepts (later Advacon), the largest technical writing contract firm in the Carolinas. When he’s not busy fostering the success of TimelyText employees, Adrian might be found walking his dogs or spending time with his new granddaughter. Adrian holds a BS in Communication from Ohio University. He’s involved with numerous community organizations but he’d rather spend his time learning about you.
