Cisco Systems TS Web Project Management For more than five years, TimelyText associates have provided support to the Cisco team responsible for the Technical Support Website. Early on, this support consisted of managed solutions in technical and marketing communications. More recently, TimelyText associates have provided business analysis and project management support.
The Technical Support Web Team has expanded to meet an ever-growing need for online technical support for a broad range of products and audiences. As the need has grown, the complexity of Cisco’s web-based technical support has also increased, fostering a need for capable project managers to control the quality of the information Cisco delivers to its customers.
In 2005, TimelyText transitioned a Team Lead from her off-site contract assignment managing communications operations and small-scale projects to a new role as a Project Manager for the Technical Support Web Team. Over the next year, the new Project Manager oversaw the successful deployment of two releases of an online tool used by Cisco customers. She also completed the requisite coursework and exam to gain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
