BCBSNC Corporate Communications
TimelyText worked with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina’s (BCBSNC) Corporate Communications organization to assemble the staff and resources to revitalize the company’s intranet. Responsibility for the intranet had recently transferred to the Corporate Communications function from Information Systems. A corporate project was funded with a mandate to procure a new web content management system and organize a decentralized governance structure across eight divisions.

Over a period of twelve weeks an experienced TimelyText corporate communications manager developed the staff structure for the intranet communication function and assisted in the design of a project plan. Our manager worked with our corporate support team to access the TimelyText network for the right candidate for the key assignment of intranet governance manager, and recruited a top local IT consulting group to conduct an assessment of the right technology. At the conclusion of the project inception period, both our professionals were recruited into the company as full time managers. By the end of the year the selection of the right technology and introduction of an executive level governance board were heralded as outstanding success stories that provided a clear roadmap to meet BCBSNC’s high performance business objectives.
